With the cooperation of farmers, Inawashiro Town has further improved this rice and created a "premium rice" with its own cultivation manual, including fertilizer and chemical management, grain size and color, and other meticulous cultivation controls. “Inawashiro Ten-notsubu” is the best rice for sushi and other Japanese dishes! It will make an authentic Sushi! So far, it has been shipped to Dubai, Paris, Geneve, Hong Kong, Toronto and some other cities. The shipment to the U.S. resumed after the re-opening of the market in 2021.

Aizu Yotsuba Agricultural Cooperatives is a local JA (Japan Agri Cooperatives) with 17 cities and towns in Aizu region, which covers almost half of Fukushima Prefecture. Aizu is one of the most prominent rice cultivating regions and produces a wide variety of agricultural products. Rice is one of our major products. Koshihikari, Hitomebore, Ten-no-tsubu and Satoyama-no-tsubu are named as "Gokujo-no-Aizu mai" (Premium Aizu Rice) and has also been shipped to some countries.
