We are Organic JAS certified. Ume plums are ripened on the tree and hand-picked. Nothing but salt (Uminosei) is added, so you can enjoy them with peace of mind. It is a traditional pickled plum with 13-15% salt content.

The Farm of Yuasa
We have been producing plums (Ume) and pickled plums (Umeboshi) in Gunma Prefecture, the second largest ume production area in Japan, for about 100 years in five generations. The company has obtained JAS certification for organic agricultural products and organic processed foods. We use only plums and salt in the traditional process of making umeboshi. In addition to Umeboshi, other representative products include "Umeboshi Paste (Neriume)," "Kakeru Umeboshi (Umeboshi Sauce)," and "Kakeru Umezu (Umeboshi Vinegar). We export Umeboshi to Germany, France, and other countries.
